England referee Pawson to referee Lazio’s UEL game against Lokomotiv Moscow


England referee Craig Pawson will oversee Lazio’s Europa League game against Lokomotiv Moscow this week.

As announced on Lazio official website Earlier today, the 42-year-old Sheffield-born referee will lead the team of officials in Thursday’s Europa League clash, the Biancocelesti’s second group game of their campaign.

Below is the full roster of officials for Lazio’s Europa League game against Lokomotiv Moscow:

  • Arbitrator: Craig Pawson (ENG)
  • Assistant referees: Lee Betts (ENG) and Ian Hussin (ENG)
  • Fourth official: Peter Bankes (ENG)
  • VAR: Chris Kavanagh (ENG)
  • VAR assistant: Juan Martínez Munuera (ESP)

Roma striker Zaniolo fined € 10,000 for obscene gesture targeting Lazio supporters

Pawson, 42, has never refereed a game involving Lazio but has refereed five different matches involving Serie A sides.

Pawson oversaw two draws involving AC Milan, Roma’s draw against Wolfsburger, in Napoli’s win over Real Sociedad last season and Sassuolo’s draw with Rapid Vienna in the 2016 season / 17.

Lazio will seek three important points against Lokomotiv Moscow at Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, after losing their opener to Galatasaray 1-0.
