Brave Russian woman says she isn’t looking for trouble after taking a huge brown bear on a fishing trip.
Veronika Dichka – who owns the incredible wild creature – spent the afternoon trying to catch her for dinner on a lake in Novosibirsk, Russia.
The giant Archie seemed to be having a good time, and even likes to row the boat when she is tired.
Veronika saved Archie from a safari park that went bankrupt in 2019.
They spend so much time together that she is totally convinced that the potentially deadly animal will never turn on her.
So they went fishing and had some fun on the water to prove the point.
Veronika says they’re close friends who cherish each other’s company – and she isn’t worried that something is wrong with their relationship.
Veronika hosted a photoshoot to show off how amazing and safe her boyfriend is.
She said: “He sees me as a member of his family, we share food, sleep in my arms when we are afraid and we hide behind me.
“We saved him from the safari park but we cannot release him back into the wild because he has lived in captivity all his life.
“Archie spends everyday with us and is madly in love with the water.
“He really likes it when I take him to new places, so this shoot has been fun for him!”
Veronika is braver than most, including a group of friends who must have scared a bear that got into their car last week.
The creature caused enormous damage after the terrifying incident that took place in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Joseph Deel took it upon himself to open the vehicle door and the wild animal caused quite a bit of damage.
He had to leave the car in the middle of the road and run towards it.
Speaking in a follow-up video on TikTok, Joseph explained, “When you’re surrounded by nature, who is going to break into your car?
“There was no one around me, I wasn’t afraid my things would be stolen.
“Turns out the bears … bears are going to break into your car!”
“And they’re actually pretty good because they also tested the nearest neighbor’s doors and they tested my friend’s car doors.”
