There are reports that the transfer of Chelsea midfielder Faustino Anjorin to Lokomotiv Moscow “could be done soon”.
The youngster has been linked with a move and it seems like a permanent deal.
According to Artur Petrossian, the deal could be closed soon.
Chelsea will receive € 10million as part of the deal, as Anjorin has been offered a 5-year contract in Russia.
The player will earn € 2million a year if he chooses to leave Chelsea and join the Moscow squad.
The Blues have already seen several academy graduates leave the club this summer with Dynel Simeu and Tino Livramento joining Southampton while Marc Guehi left for a permanent move to Crystal Palace, with Conor Gallagher joining the Eagles on loan.
Anjorin has several midfielders ahead of him at Stamford Bridge and with rumors linking Chelsea to Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, Anjorin’s departure seems likely.
However, Thomas Tuchel recently admitted that there is a path for academy graduates if they show the right attitude.
What Thomas Tuchel says
“Always. Always, always, always and the door is always open,” Tuchel told reporters the youngsters had a chance to break into the first team, cited by Goal.
“I actually love him and I really believe the fans love him. The mix between great players from abroad, great personalities and famous players can mix with guys from the academy.
“That’s what makes the club special. And when you look at the photo when we lift the trophy in the Champions League, there are so many academy boys in that photo.
“It makes it special and that’s how it should be. It’s always a question of mixing. At the same time, there are no freebies at this level. You have to earn your way, you have to overcome obstacles.”
