“These ships have to go to sea several times for factory and state testing. To date, all operations on the submarines are on schedule. The ships are performing well and confirming their specifications,” Budnichenko said. .
He noted that the Sevmash slipway will not be empty after the submarines are commissioned.
“Two other submarines were laid this year – the Dmitry Donskoy and the Knyaz Potyomkin from Project Borey-A. They complete the range of strategic cruisers currently under construction in the shipyard hangars. We also continue to work on sub “Versatile sailors. We are making every effort to ensure a rhythmic construction”, declared the head of the shipyard.
He pointed out that this summer, the Krasnoyarsk multipurpose nuclear submarine (Project Yasen-M) was launched, while the lead ship of this project, the Kazan, was commissioned this spring. The manager noted that this year was one of the most intense in the past 20 years.
